Colby College Museum of Art "Maine Carvers" Exhibit Waterville, Maine It isn't very often that we wood carvers have the opportunity to have our work shown in a situation where it is considered, unquestionably, ART!!! Many thanks to Gerard Boutin for arranging this exhibit. Nineteen MWCA members have work on display. Gerard, as curator, and the rest of the Museum staff, did an exceptional job of setting it up. On March 3, the Museum held a wonderful Opening Reception, and turnout was terrific!! On the following pages you can view pictures of the carvings in the exhibit, and in some cases, pictures of the carvers themselves. Enjoy perusing the pictures and try to get to the museum to see the exhibit "in person".
